Guernsey Celebrates 25 Years of Changing Young Lives

Wooden Spoon Guernsey marked a significant milestone as supporters, volunteers and members of the local community came together to celebrate 25 years of fundraising and making a difference to children and young people with disabilities or facing disadvantage.

Over the past 25 years, the region has raised more than £500,000, helping to create life-changing opportunities for more than 18,000 children and young people. This incredible achievement reflects the dedication of the Guernsey regional committee and the unwavering support of the local community.

The celebrations took place at the Wooden Spoon Guernsey 25th Anniversary Legend Dinner, where guests enjoyed an unforgettable evening filled with a fantastic atmosphere, a packed venue and a shared sense of pride in everything the region has accomplished.

The evening featured special guests Nigel Owens and Andrew Gomersall, whose stories and entertainment helped make the anniversary celebration even more memorable. Wooden Spoon Guernsey also extended its thanks to Onscreen Creations for helping make the event such a success.

As Wooden Spoon celebrates this remarkable milestone in Guernsey, it also celebrates the countless children and young people whose lives have been positively impacted through the region’s fundraising efforts.
