Every Gift Membership directly supports Wooden Spoon’s work as the children’s charity of rugby. We are a grant-making charity funding life-changing projects that help children and young people who need us most. Last year alone, thanks to the generosity of our members, we supported 89 projects across the UK and Ireland. Yet the need continues to grow: with 11% of children in the UK living with a disability and 30% living in poverty, we can approve only around 1 in 10 project applications we receive.

How it works
Buy a Gift Membership for someone you know and a unique reference will be issued for your recipient to redeem themselves against 12 months of Wooden Spoon Membership.
You can also choose if the gift membership pack is to be sent to you or sent directly to the recipient with a personalised message.
The recipient will need to activate their Gift Membership themselves and further details will be provided in the membership pack.
For delivery in time for Christmas, please order at the latest by 15th December 2025 – UK & Ireland only – Gift Option choices subject to availability – gift choices for selection at purchasing point may be changed if stock availability becomes reduced; or we may contact you to check about supplying an alternative, should the gift option you selected at purchase be no longer available, so we can get the Gift Membership Pack to you or your Gift Recipient in time for Christmas.
