Another Successful Race Night at Reading RFC for Wooden Spoon Chilterns

Wooden Spoon Chilterns, alongside partner club Reading RFC, hosted a second highly successful Race Night at the Reading clubhouse, bringing together supporters for an evening of fun, fundraising, and rugby.

The event proved to be a lively and entertaining occasion, with guests fully embracing the racing theme, cheering on their chosen horses and enjoying the friendly competition throughout the night. The atmosphere was electric, with plenty of laughter and camaraderie as races unfolded.

Taking place after the Six Nations fixtures between Scotland v France and Italy v England, the evening also provided the perfect opportunity for guests to come together and share in the excitement and discussion of international rugby, adding to the overall buzz of the event.

As well as being a thoroughly enjoyable night, the event raised valuable funds for the Chiltern region, helping to support Wooden Spoon’s vital work with children and young people with disabilities or those facing disadvantage in the local community.

The Race Night also further strengthened the partnership between Wooden Spoon Chiltern and Reading RFC, highlighting the important role rugby clubs play in bringing people together to make a positive difference.

Wooden Spoon Chiltern would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to making the evening such a success, and looks forward to building on this momentum at future events.
