Wooden Spoon Guernsey Hosts a Successful Autumn Internationals Day
Wooden Spoon Guernsey was delighted to host its Autumn Internationals Day on Saturday 15th November at the 1857 Sports Lounge & Bistro, with the event proving to be a great success for rugby fans and supporters of the charity alike.
The day offered a fantastic rugby experience, with five Autumn International matches shown live on large screens across two spacious rooms. One room was transformed into a lively fan zone, creating a buzzing matchday atmosphere, while the second room provided a more relaxed dining space, allowing guests to enjoy great food alongside the rugby.
The flexible format of the event meant guests were able to drop in for as much or as little of the day as they wished, making it accessible and welcoming for a wide range of supporters. Throughout the day, the venue was filled with a strong sense of camaraderie, with guests enjoying the rugby, socialising, and supporting a shared cause.
The 1857 Sports Lounge & Bistro proved to be an excellent setting, with ample space across both rooms to accommodate the crowds comfortably while maintaining a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere.
Wooden Spoon Guernsey would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the Autumn Internationals Day. Thanks to the generosity of those involved, the event was a great success and helped raise valuable funds to support Wooden Spoon’s work with children and young people across the region.
