A Night of Generosity and Celebration: Gloucestershire Annual Dinner 2024

The heart of Gloucester Rugby came alive as supporters gathered for the Wooden Spoon Gloucestershire Annual Dinner 2024. It was an evening filled with camaraderie, purpose, and a shared commitment to improving the lives of children and young people in the region.

The venue, adorned in the vibrant colors of Wooden Spoon Charity, provided an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. Chairman Rob York opened the evening, reflecting on the impactful work achieved by Wooden Spoon Gloucestershire and its dedicated committee.

A highlight of the night was a heartfelt presentation by the James Hopkins Trust, sharing how the charity’s donation has supported their memorial stream project. Additionally, a lively Q&A session with Alex Brown gave guests an exciting glimpse into the future plans for the organization.

Entertainment and Fundraising Highlights

The evening’s entertainment struck the perfect chord, featuring the delightful performances of singing waiters (@SingOutWaitressesAndWaiters) and a captivating poetic take on rugby by the talented Stewart Wright.

Guests also had the chance to participate in a thrilling auction, raising significant funds to support Wooden Spoon Gloucestershire’s future projects.
