Spoonews Autumn/Winter 2017 out now

THE Autumn/Winter 2017 issue of Spoonews, the magazine of Wooden Spoon, is out now – and you can catch up with all of the latest news, features and projects from the children’s charity of rugby online.

Check out our digital edition below to learn how Wooden Spoon helped cover star Ted Mitchell take to the pitch at Twickenham; how we are using the game of golf to boost our vision of sport for all; and why a Gloucester woman chose to run the London Marathon for us.

We’ve also chatted to former England skipper – and current Wooden Spoon ambassador – Catherine Spencer about women’s rugby, heard from up-and-coming English prospect Jacob Umaga and discussed the benefits of our Supporting Tomorrow’s Superstars campaign with wheelchair athlete Gemma Lumsdaine.

We’ve also got plenty of coverage of some of the amazing projects which have been made possible through the generosity of our supporters and the hard work of the many Wooden Spoon regional committees.

Enjoy the issue.
