At Wooden Spoon, we continue to make an impact on the lives of children and young people living with disabilities or facing disadvantage, through the power of rugby. Giving those we support, through the grants awarded, the chance to learn, thrive, play and be safe. And in turn, providing them the opportunity for valuable experiences they might not otherwise have.
But we want to help more – currently we can only approve approximately one in 10 of the project applications we receive.
There are many ways to support Wooden Spoon – but just one of the great ways you can support us is by joining as a Wooden Spoon member. The more members we have, the stronger our supporter network grows.
By joining as an Individual Member, with a regular membership donation from £6 per month or £60 per annum by direct debit, you’ll receive:
- Monthly Spoon e-news with details of campaigns and projects
- Invitations to regional events
- A welcome gift for new members – choose from one of a Wooden Spoon tie, scarf, socks, bobble hat, pin badge or no gift
- Membership draws to win tickets and other prizes
- Bi-annual Spoonews magazine
- Being part of the rugby community.
