A New Sensory Space for Roman Way Academy
This new sensory room, which opened on the 21st of March 2025 by Andy Onyeama-Christie in Royston, provides a calm and stimulating environment designed to support children with sensory processing difficulties. The space offers tailored resources to help children regulate their emotions, develop their senses, and enhance their overall wellbeing.
The sensory room was generously funded by a Wooden Spoon Charity grant. Wooden Spoon supports Roman Way Academy’s commitment to creating inclusive and nurturing spaces that foster wellbeing and growth.
