Hyper Club Sensory Tactile Room

Edinburgh

Hyper Club Sensory Room, a pioneering initiative in the field of disability and sensory support, has launched in Edinburgh with a funding boost of £10,000. This project, aimed at creating an inclusive, engaging space for sensory exploration and support, is set to have a significant impact on the local community.

Hyper Club has been a beacon of support for children and adults with disabilities and learning difficulties since 2012, welcoming members as young as 5 years old up to 97, with no age limit. This new sensory room, which opened on June 17th, provides a calming and out-of-this-world environment designed to help members of all ages connect, relax, and explore in a supportive space.

The sensory room hosts baby sensory sessions, offering 30-minute sessions for parents to enjoy with their babies in a comfortable, magical setting. These sessions promote bonding and sensory development in a relaxed environment.

This sensory room project was generously funded by Wooden Spoon Charity, known for its commitment to life-changing projects across the UK and Ireland for children and young people.
