Farney Close School Outdoor Learning Facility
SussexFarney Close School Outdoor Learning Facility has opened in Sussex with a funding boost of £22,800 from Wooden Spoon. This project, aimed at providing students with a unique outdoor learning environment, is set to have a significant impact on the school community.
The new outdoor facility, formally opened in July, was generously donated by Wooden Spoon Charity and serves as a versatile space for Farney Close School. The facility will be utilised by Forest Schools, supporting alternative learning approaches for students, and will be available to the entire school as a refreshing alternative to traditional classroom learning. Beyond academic purposes, the space also doubles as an evening activity hub, offering students a comfortable setting to gather and watch movies.
