Wooden Spoon Chilterns Hosts Festive Carol Cruise

Wooden Spoon Chilterns was delighted to host its annual Carol Cruise from Hobbs Boat Yard, Henley-on-Thames, in a wonderfully festive celebration for supporters and friends. The event was a resounding success, combining a joyful atmosphere with the opportunity to support Wooden Spoon’s vital work with children and young people with disabilities or those facing disadvantage.

Guests enjoyed a three-course festive lunch with drinks from the bar while cruising along the scenic Thames. Entertainment was provided by CJ, performing covers from Michael Bublé, Neil Diamond, and many other favourites, keeping spirits high throughout the afternoon. The event also featured a raffle and traditional carol singing, creating a warm and memorable festive atmosphere for everyone on board.

The Carol Cruise provided a perfect mix of celebration, camaraderie, and fundraising, allowing guests to connect with fellow supporters while making a tangible difference to children and young people in need.

Wooden Spoon Chilterns would like to thank everyone who attended, as well as all who contributed to the raffle and supported the event. The day was a wonderful way to celebrate the festive season while raising vital funds for life-changing projects in the region.
