Lancashire Annual Lunch 2025: A Sold-Out Success

This year’s Annual Lunch at the Village Hotel Blackpool was another great success. It was sold out weeks before and all 360 guests had a great time, helping to raise well over £20,000 in support of Wooden Spoon, every pound of which will be invested in a local project supporting disadvantaged and disadvantaged children and young people.  
 
MC, Joey Blower, did a sterling job throughout the afternoon, making everyone laugh, while raising huge amounts in fines and in the live auction.  
 
Thank you to guest speakers John Jeffrey, Sir Bill Beaumont and Gill Burns MBE and to the Ragdolls who provided a rousing musical finale. And finally, a big thank you to our event sponsor Canaccord Wealth and to all those individuals and businesses who attended and helped raise so much money for a great cause.
