Yorkshire Mixed Touch Rugby Festival Makes Return Post-Covid

Wednesday 11 June saw the resurrection of the Yorkshire corporate mixed touch rugby festival which had sadly been a victim of Covid. The evening saw 13 teams battle it out to be crowned champions at hosts Old Leos; a long time supporter of Wooden Spoon. Hilco and their team captain Alex Hall were victorious in the final against law firm Walker Morris. Over £2,000 was raised on the evening for Wooden Spoon.

Organiser Andy Boyde commented:

“It was great to see the touch rugby back in the corporate calendar of events after being a victim of lockdown. A huge thanks to Old Leos for hosting the event which promises to be even bigger and better next year. Brilliant to see so many firms supporting a fantastic charity
