Wooden Spoon Wine tasting raises £2000

Wooden Spoon – the childrens charity of rugby- held a “ Scrum Wine with Me” evening at Bottles Wine Bar , New Street, Worcester.

50 guests sampled a Six nations themed menu of wine and cheeses from the six rugby playing nations. Attendees also wore their home nations shirt of choice.

The event was sponsored by Bespoke Advice with luxury goods supplier, Ellen Halpin Barnett also providing Christmas cake to complement the evening.

Wooden Spoon Worcestershire Chairman Vince Hopkins said “ It was another great Wooden Spoon evening and many thanks to Bottles will were excellent hosts.

We raised £2000 on the evening which will all go to help disadvantaged children across our county. We could nt raise the funds we do without our great sponsors and members.”
