Warwickshire Annual Christmas Lunch Brings Joy & Raises Vital Funds

On Friday 6th December 2024, Wooden Spoon Warwickshire Annual Christmas Lunch at Coventry’s CBS Arena gathered over 320 enthusiastic guests for a festive afternoon filled with delicious food, inspiring guest speakers, and impactful fundraising activities.

The prestigious venue, home to Coventry City FC and the former home of WASPS RFC, provided the perfect setting for a heartwarming event that brought together supporters, Wooden Spoon regional and national team members, and distinguished guests.

Special Guests & Entertainment
Master of Ceremonies David Kurk expertly guided the day’s proceedings. Attendees were treated to engaging talks by guest speakers Steve Davis, the legendary snooker champion, and Wayne Barnes, a celebrated rugby referee, who shared captivating stories from their remarkable careers.

Fundraising Highlights
A series of exciting fundraising activities kept the room buzzing. Popular competitions included the beloved Heads and Tails game for a Magnum of Champagne and a raffle featuring three major prizes. Additionally, a silent auction hosted by Impulse Decisions offered exclusive experiences and items for bidding.
