West Kent Golf Day a great success

Wooden Spoon Kent raised over £8,400 recently with a golf day at Redlibbets Golf Club in Sevenoaks.

Mixed twenty nine 4ball teams and two 3ball teams played a Stableford competition with the best two scores to count on each hole. The handicap allowance was 85% of the course handicap with a max of 28 for men and 36 for ladies.

It was a very competitive day. In first place was Cawston Roofing with 94 points, second place South East Swingers with 90 points (49 points on back nine) and third, Sidcup RFC with  90 points (45 points on back none).  Fourth place went to Dartford Young Bloods with 88 points.
