Sussex “Fish and Chips” lunch back in action on Brighton Pier

Having had to miss the event last year, Wooden Spoon Sussex was delighted to welcome 125 members and supporters on to Brighton Pier for the return of their annual “Fish and Chip” lunch.

Lots of Christmas jumpers and rugby club blazers were on show and with that old friend and supporter of Wooden Spoon, Adger Brown, supervising fundraising and providing the entertainment, a great time was had by all.

Wooden Spoon Sussex Chairman, Sandy Fleming said “We continue to be blessed with fantastic support from the Sussex rugby community for which we are immensely grateful, long may it continue.”

Our thanks to all who attended the lunch and helped raise vital funds to support children and young people with disabilities and facing disadvantage in the local area.
