Wooden Spoon Lancashire pays tribute to long standing patron

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the loss of one of our long standing patrons, Charlie Pedley to coronavirus.

“Charlie had been a generous patron of Wooden Spoon Lancashire since our committee was formed 20 years ago,” said chairman Martin Long.

“Having supported all our events during this period, I particularly remember him regularly stepping in and making bids for auction items whenever bidding stalled.

“Charlie was a real character and a popular member of the local business community, and of Blackpool North Shore Golf Club.

“Our thoughts are with his wife Jackie and their children and grandchild.”
