Partner Club golfers tee off for charity

Handsworth RFC golf day.

WOODEN Spoon partner club Handsworth RFC has held its first annual golf day at Great Barr Golf Club.

An excellent turnout ensured vital funds were raised for local deserving projects, and Great Barr GC kindly waived their green fees which added to a very successful day.

Handsworth is part of the Wooden Spoon Partner Club Programme (#PCPfamily) and has set the pace with several fundraising events.

During the event, Trevor Jenkins Regional representative for Wooden Spoon West Midlands thanked the club and players for their support. Special thanks also went to Alan Rogers for his continued hard work.
