Wooden Spoon Zipwire opens at Spateston Community Development Trust
GlasgowWooden Spoon Zipwire is a Playground & Outdoor Activities project in Johnston, Glasgow. Wooden Spoon Glasgow have provided a grant of £10,000 for this project, aimed at providing outdoor recreational opportunities for local children and young people, and is set to have a significant impact on the local community.
Spateston Community Development Trust, the location of the Wooden Spoon Zipwire, focuses on community-enhancing projects such as playpark improvements, community centre development, and tackling local issues including traffic and resource allocation.
This new Playground & Outdoor Activities facility, provides a safe and exciting outdoor environment designed to encourage physical activity and support the wellbeing of children and young people in the area.
This Zipwire project was generously funded by a grant from Wooden Spoon, the children’s charity of rugby. Wooden Spoon supports Spateston Community Trust’s commitment to creating inclusive outdoor spaces that promote wellbeing and personal development.
