Wooden Spoon Bedfordshire Grant to Support Play Sessions for Families in Bedfordshire
BedfordshireSendiTots Play Sessions at FACES Bedford is a Health & Wellbeing project offering Play Sessions, in Bedfordshire, and has been awarded a grant of £1,500 by Wooden Spoon Bedfordshire.
This project is set to have a significant impact on the local community. These play sessions builds on FACES Bedford’s work supporting local children and families facing difficult challenges such as mental and physical health issues, domestic abuse, poverty, child sexual exploitation, and behavioural difficulties. The organisation delivers a range of quality-tested services and family support groups, many of which are led by a dedicated team of volunteers.
The project was made possible thanks to a generous grant from Wooden Spoon, the children’s charity of rugby. Wooden Spoon is proud to support FACES Bedford in creating an environment that helps foster wellbeing and growth.
