This project, designed to provide a safe and accessible outdoor space for individuals with disabilities, is set to have a significant impact on the local community.
White Lodge Centre
White Lodge Centre provides services that enable individuals with a range of disabilities, along with their families and carers, to lead fulfilling lives. Since its founding in 1962, the centre has been dedicated to supporting people with disabilities and now assists over 2,500 individuals across Surrey and beyond.
A New Resin Walkway for White Lodge Centre
This new resin walkway, which opened in March 2025, provides a smooth, accessible outdoor path designed to help individuals with mobility challenges navigate outdoor spaces more safely and comfortably. The improved surface enhances accessibility and inclusion, ensuring that more people can enjoy the outdoor environment at White Lodge Centre.
The resin walkway was generously funded by a Wooden Spoon Charity grant. Wooden Spoon supports White Lodge Centre’s commitment to creating inclusive and accessible spaces that foster wellbeing and independence.
