Vertical Living at The Ledge SCIO
AberdeenVertical Living at The Ledge SCIO, a Specialist Equipment & Facilities project focused on climbing equipment, in Aberdeen, has been awarded a grant of £10,000. This project, aimed at supporting young people facing disadvantage through access to climbing and adventure-based activities, is set to have a meaningful impact on the local community.
Vertical Living reflects the ethos of The Ledge SCIO, whose vision is for every person in Scotland to enjoy a happy, healthy life free from poverty or disadvantage. Their mission is to inspire individuals, communities, and organisations to work together to drive social change and transform lives.
This new Specialist Equipment & Facilities project, due to open soon, will provide high-quality climbing equipment in a safe and inclusive environment designed to help children and young people build confidence, resilience, and physical wellbeing through the challenge and teamwork of indoor climbing.
