Wooden Spoon Slide Opens in Hertfordshire with £7,000 Funding Boost

The Wooden Spoon Slide is a specialist play project in the field of early years education and autism support, and has opened in Hertfordshire with a funding boost of £7,000. This project, aimed at creating a calm and structured play environment for young autistic children, is set to have a significant impact on the local community.

Supporting Young Autistic Children at TRACKS

This new play installation, which opened on 7th February 2025, provides a safe and engaging space designed to help children explore, develop motor skills, and build confidence in a distraction-free environment. TRACKS, a specialist early years education provider, offers subsidised support for autistic children aged 2-5, ensuring they receive the best start in life in a setting tailored to their unique needs.
