Starlight Sensory Room in Holywell Primary School

The Wooden Spoon Starlight Room at Holywell Primary School, is a Sensory Space project featuring a Sensory Room, in Leicestershire. Wooden Spoon Leicestershire have provided a grant of £15,000 for this project, aimed at supporting children with additional needs through the creation of a calming, therapeutic environment, and is set to have a meaningful impact on the school community.

Holywell Primary School, the location of The Wooden Spoon Starlight Room, is committed to developing happy, inquisitive, and resilient life-long learners who strive for excellence in all that they do.

This new Sensory Space provides a nurturing and stimulating environment designed to help children regulate emotions, improve focus, and engage more fully in their learning experiences.

The Sensory Room was generously funded by a grant from Wooden Spoon, the children’s charity of rugby. Wooden Spoon supports Holywell Primary School’s dedication to creating inclusive spaces that foster wellbeing and development.
