The Memorial Stream, a calming outdoor area in the field of playgrounds and outdoor space, has opened in Gloucestershire with a funding boost of £9,626. This project, aimed at creating a relaxing environment tailored to the families of the individuals supported by James Hopkins Trust.
Memorial Stream: Providing a Tranquil and Comfortable space for Families
This refurbished area, which opened on 11th December 2024, provides a calming and thoughtful environment designed to help to comfort bereaved families. Based at Kites Corner and extending to in-home support, the James Hopkins Trust remains committed to offering personalised care that supports life threatened young children, they believe that every child deserves to experience joy, laughter and love, regardless of their complex medical needs, diagnosis or condition.
This Memorial Stream was generously funded by a Wooden Spoon Charity grant. Wooden Spoon supports James Hopkins Trust’s dedication to creating safe and inclusive spaces that promote well-being, development, and support for children with complex needs.
