£7,500 Wooden Spoon Leicestershire Grant Creates Calming Sensory Space in Leicestershire
LeicestershireA new Sensory Room at Raising Health, a Sensory Space project providing a new Sensory Room in Leicestershire, has been awarded a grant of £7,500 from Wooden Spoon Leicestershire.
This project, aimed at supporting individuals accessing mental health, learning disability and community health services, is set to have a significant impact on the local community. Raising Health provides equipment and funds projects in mental health, learning disability and community health services, going above and beyond what is provided by the NHS.
This new Sensory Room, which will open on 8th October 2025, offers a calming and interactive environment designed to help individuals manage anxiety, build confidence, and support their wellbeing.
This project was generously funded by a Wooden Spoon Charity grant. Wooden Spoon supports Raising Health’s dedication to creating inclusive spaces that foster wellbeing and growth.
