Sensory Corner at An Tobar and Mull Theatre

Glasgow

Creative Learning Space at An Tobar and Mull Theatre, a Specialist Equipment & Facilities project focused on equipment and activity aids, in Glasgow, has been awarded a grant of £10,050 from Wooden Spoon Glasgow. This project, aimed at enhancing creative engagement and accessibility for young people through specialist resources, is set to make a meaningful impact on the local community.

Creative Learning Space builds on the rich legacy of An Tobar and Mull Theatre, which presents around 100 events annually across theatre, live music, visual arts, crafts, creative learning, dance, film, literature, and comedy. As a leading cultural organisation in the region, it plays a vital role in making the arts accessible to all.

This new Specialist Equipment & Facilities project, which officially opened on 20th March 2025, provides a supportive and inspiring environment designed to help children and young people participate more fully in creative activities. Through the provision of tailored equipment and activity aids, the project supports inclusion, development, and wellbeing for those who may otherwise face barriers to engaging with the arts.

The project was generously funded by a Wooden Spoon charity grant. Wooden Spoon proudly supports An Tobar and Mull Theatre and its dedication to creating inclusive, creative environments that foster wellbeing, expression, and personal growth.
