Pathways Decking Project at White Lodge Centre

Pathways Decking Project at White Lodge Centre, a Playgrounds & Outdoor Activities project of Pathways Decking, has opened in Surrey with a grant of £40,000. This project, aimed at improving accessibility and outdoor experiences for individuals with disabilities, is set to have a significant impact on the local community.

White Lodge Centre provides vital services that empower individuals with a range of disabilities, along with their families and carers, to lead fulfilling lives. With a vision of “a world which is inclusive to all, regardless of ability”, the centre currently supports over 1,200 individuals across Surrey and beyond through a diverse range of services catering to all ages and abilities.

This new Pathway Decking, provides a safe, accessible, and inclusive outdoor space designed to help individuals with disabilities engage with nature, socialise, and take part in outdoor activities in a secure and supportive environment.

This decking project was generously funded by a Wooden Spoon Charity grant. Wooden Spoon supports White Lodge Centre’s commitment to creating inclusive spaces that enhance wellbeing, independence, and community engagement.
