NEW MUGA FOR GELLI OPENED BY SEAN HOLLEY
WalesA new games area in Gelli Primary School is enriching the lives of all the children at the school in The Rhondda. The Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) has been made possible by a £25,000 grant from Wooden Spoon Wales.
The project, conceived in August 2020 at the start of the COVID crisis, was finally opened officially on the hottest day recorded for many years by Sean Holley of Ospreys & BBC Wales.
Guests including school governors, former pupils & representatives of Cardiff City FC Foundation & RCT Sport Wales/Cymru were greeted & thanked by pupils & staff at the school.
