Kevin Morgan opens new project for Wooden Spoon Wales
WalesFormer Wales rugby international, Kevin Morgan, joined Wooden Spoon Wales on Friday 24 June at the Coedpenmaen Primary School BBQ to officially open the Wooden Spoon Outdoor Classroom.
Wooden Spoon Wales donated £10,000 to fund the project, helping resolve challenges the school faced due to a chronic shortage of space within the school building. The new classroom will now allow for much needed one to one sessions with autistic and special needs children.
Deputy head Michelle Pugh thanked Wooden Spoon for their generosity and said the facility was already in constant use.
Kevin Morgan celebrated 48 caps for Wales, alongside an illustrious career with Pontypridd, Swansea, Warriors and Dragons. The rugby player was also part of the winning Grand Slam 2005 team, whilst also scoring a try in the championship decider with Ireland.
