Jigsaw Trust Learning Space

Surrey

The new Learning Space at Jigsaw Trust, is an Outdoor Learning Space project under the Playground & Outdoor Activities category in Surrey, was awarded a grant of £20,500 by Wooden Spoon Surrey. This project, aimed at supporting children and young people with autism through outdoor learning and engagement, is set to make a meaningful impact on the local community.

The Jigsaw Trust Learning Space builds on the legacy of Jigsaw Trust, which provides specialist education, care, and support for individuals with autism. The Trust is dedicated to promoting independence, encouraging positive choices, and fostering social inclusion for all learners.

This new Outdoor Learning Space, which officially opened on 18th June 2025 by John Inverdale, offers a purpose-built environment designed to support children with autism by enhancing their outdoor learning experiences and encouraging sensory development, physical activity, and social interaction.

The project was generously funded by a Wooden Spoon charity grant. Wooden Spoon proudly supports Jigsaw Trust and its commitment to creating safe, supportive environments that nurture wellbeing and personal growth.
