Friends of Seaview

Edinburgh

Friends of Seaview, a polytunnel for growing vegtables throughout the winter, in the field of outdoor spaces and learning, has opened in Edinburgh with a funding boost of £5,000. This project, aimed at creating an inclusive, engaging space for learning and support, is set to have a significant impact on the local community.

Friends of Seaview has a proud history of supporting children and young people in Edinburgh, providing opportunities for outdoor exploration and engagement in a safe, welcoming environment.

This new Outdoor Fun & Learning project, which opened in May 2024, provides a calming and out-of-this-world environment designed to help members of all ages connect, learn, and explore in a supportive space.

This project was generously funded by a Wooden Spoon grant. Wooden Spoon supports the Friends of Seaview’s dedication to creating safe and inclusive spaces that foster wellbeing and growth.
