EX-BATH RUGBY STAR LENDS A HELPING HAND TO WOODEN SPOON

Bristol & Bath

Danny Grewcock MBE, formerly of England and Bath, has this week joined Wooden Spoon Bristol, Bath & Somerset as an Ambassador.

In his new role, Danny will provide a strong shoulder to the charity’s life-changing work; whether by helping to spread the word about Wooden Spoon, volunteering his time or helping to tackle charity sporting challenges.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of Wooden Spoon – a fantastic charity driven by rugby, where every penny raised is used to help improve the lives of our kids in the region.” said Danny Grewcock.

Danny has won 69 caps for England, and 5 with the British Lions. He currently has a crucial role with Bristol Academy and Clifton College focusing on High Performance Rugby.

Having previously been the Honorary President for Wooden Spoon Devon, Danny is no stranger to Wooden Spoon, often attending events such as the opening ceremony of the sensory canopy and physiotherapy suite at Vranch House School, funded in 2009.
