National

Community Dog at Dogs for Good and Young & Co.’s Brewery, P.L.C – a Health & Wellbeing project supporting people through the power of the human–canine bond – has been awarded a grant of £35,000.

This project aims to help people of all ages, including those with disabilities or facing challenges, by fostering positive connections with specially trained dogs. By tailoring their support to each individual or group, Dogs for Good ensures that everyone can benefit fully from their relationship with a dog.

Dogs for Good has a long-standing commitment to improving lives, while Young & Co.’s Brewery, P.L.C is dedicated to building a company that values its team, cares for the environment, and makes a meaningful contribution to the communities it serves.

This new project, due to open soon, provides a welcoming environment designed to support wellbeing, encourage personal growth, and bring joy to those who take part.

The project has been generously funded by a grant from Wooden Spoon, the children’s charity of rugby. Wooden Spoon supports Community Dog’s mission to create inclusive, supportive spaces that foster wellbeing and growth.
