North Yorks Ultra Challenge®
Take on one of the most stunning events in the Ultra Challenge calendar and walk, jog, or run across the Cleveland Way & North Yorkshire moors. Fundraise for charity and make a real impact to a meaningful cause whilst achieving something truly incredible.
Set out from basecamp in Scarborough onto the Cleveland Way, past Scarborough Castle and charming Robin Hood’s Bay before reaching the 50km mark in the shadows of Whitby Abbey. For full100km Challengers you’ll head back towards Scarborough along the Esk Valley and classic moorland scenery. The 10 mile and 25km Loops start and finish in Whitby – one of the most dramatic finish lines in the entire Ultra Challenge calendar!
Join as an individual or as a team and get ready to experience full support every step of the way. Regular Rest Stops packed with food & drink, hot meals, fully marked routes, massage & medical care, marshals on course and walking the route with you, and of course an unbeatable community. There’s even camping/accommodation options & transfers available for Challengers so you can plan your whole weekend smoothly.

This event is organised by Ultra Challenge Ltd.
Wooden Spoon works with some event suppliers to provide a platform for our members and supporters to fundraise for the charity. There is a cost to the charity to administer these events and therefore we have set minimum fundraising levels which we view as achievable based on previous participants. It is at Wooden Spoon’s discretion whether to allow the participants to take part or not for the charity, if fundraising levels are not met. Thanks for your understanding.
