The London marathon is iconic and one of the most popular marathons in the world. The event is oversubscribed every year. Wooden Spoon has a limited number of spaces available to you to fundraise for our projects to help children living with disability, in deprivation or those disengaged from mainstream society.
We ask you to cover the cost of your place so that 100% of your fundraising goes to those children and young people.
Entry is £150 with a minimum fundraising target of £2,500.
All runners receive:
- A Wooden Spoon training t-shirt and Bobble hat
- A Team Wooden Spoon personalised running vest
- Fundraising resources and support
- Team Wooden Spoon what’s app team group
- Opportunity for Grandstand viewing places
- Post marathon social event
We expect to receive more enquiries than we have places so we run an internal selection ballot. Our internal ballot for our 2026 charity places is now closed.
