Wooden Spoon has a limited number of guaranteed places available for the Virgin Money London Marathon in 2019. These places have now been filled, but please contact us to be placed on the waiting list.

Hoping to watch the London Marathon this year? Why not join Wooden Spoon London to cheer on and celebrate the achievements of Wooden Spoon runners taking part in the most famous marathon in the world!
Wooden Spoon London’s Project Officer, David Haggart is running for the charity and our cheer station will be on Jamaica Road, at a crucial point in the race as runners from across the country prepare to cross Tower Bridge at Mile 12.
After the race, join us and our triumphant Wooden Spoon Marathon Runners at The Grange Pub in Bermondsey, just a short walk from London Bridge. No need to book, but do email london@woodenspoon.org.uk to let us know if you’re planning to join us.
Timetable:
- Wheelchair racers will be through at 9.30am
- Elite women at 10.10am
- Elite men at 10.50am
- 3 hour 30 mins pace at 11.35am
- 6 hour pace at 13.15pm
