Youngs Padel Day Raises £835 in Sunshine-Filled Success

Wooden Spoon was delighted to benefit from a fantastic padel fundraising day by Youngs Pubs, which brought together players and supporters for a fun, energetic, and highly competitive event under glorious sunshine.

The day was filled with great rallies, big smiles, and a brilliant atmosphere both on and off the court. Players gave it their all, with some impressively competitive matches and plenty of determination on display throughout the event.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of those involved, the raffle raised an impressive £835 for Wooden Spoon. A huge thank you goes to everyone who bought tickets and donated so generously – funds that will make a real difference in supporting Wooden Spoon’s work with children and young people with disabilities or those facing disadvantage.

Congratulations go to all of the raffle prize winners, and a special mention goes to Team Wooden Spoon, who battled it out for a full four hours of padel to take home the trophy. A fitting result on a day that truly reflected the spirit of the charity.
