Pat McKeown Swings into Action: Raising Over £10K for Wooden Spoon

Warwickshire stalwart Pat McKeown has gone above and beyond this past year for Wooden Spoon after securing and choosing the charity as the benefactor for his Captains Charity for Bubbenhall Golf Society. Along side his fundraising through golf, he has also organised auctions, raffles and quiz nights with the aim to surpass his £10K target, which was achieved in January. Pat gives up a lot of time for Wooden Spoon and has successfully planned and organised the Wooden Spoon Golf Day for over 20 years which in itself has generated a huge amount of funds which are used to support life changing projects in Warwickshire that positively impact and change the lives of children with disabilities.  

Pat always recognises and thanks the support of Bubbenhall Golf Society, Corpsewood Sports & Social Club and the Malt Shovel Pub who have all been long term supporters of his fundraising endeavours.
