Put the ‘fun’ in fundraising with Wooden Spoon!

Want to start fundraising for Wooden Spoon but not sure what to do? We’ve put together a list of some fun ideas to inspire you to choose something that suits you!

However you choose to do it, the money you raise will help change the lives of children and young people with disabilities or facing disadvantage living near you.

VIRTUAL CHALLENGE

Run, walk, cycle, wheel or pass the rugby ball – anywhere, anytime.

Choose one of our challenges, pay a £5 entry fee and set up a fundraising page. Send us your pictures and we will send you a medal!

FUN IN THE SUN

It’s BBQ season
Host a virtual BBQ or dinner party from your garden and ask for a donation to put in your fundraising pot!

Sports Day
Take it back to your school days with traditional games such as an egg and spoon race and tug of war! Charge an entry fee and award the winner with a prize.

Lawn Mowing
Offer to mow your neighbours’, family or friends’ garden for a donation.

BAKE SALE

Count yourself as the next Mary Berry? Why not bake some tasty treats and do socially-distanced door drops in your local area.

You could even organise a virtual Bake Off style competition with your family and friends.

Join the fun and raise some life-changing dough to help vulnerable children near you.

GIVE UP A HABIT

Whether it’s nail biting, smoking, or eating too much chocolate, why not quit your bad habit whilst fundraising for Wooden Spoon?

Get people to sponsor you or donate the money you save from cutting it out your life!

GAMES NIGHT

Host an online games tournament and battle it out with your friends and family.

Ask each person to donate to play and have a prize for the winner!
