Norfolk RFU Big Rugby Day Out is a great success

Nearly 2000 supporters turned up in scorching temperatures to see the seven county cup finals at Little Melton on Saturday 7th May.

The event was hosted by the Crusaders RFC who generously donated £250 to the total in recognition of the region organising volunteers to man the gates during the day.

Wooden Spoon Eastern Counties held a raffle and a book sale, which raised £414, which could fund a full support swingf set for a school playground which will allow wheelchair bound children to independently have fun and play.

The Senior Cup Final was won by North Walsham RFC who beat Diss RFC by 40-0.
