Mental Health Projects

We are facing a mental health crisis amongst children and young people in the UK.

One in six children and young people have a mental health condition.

Two in three children and young people with a mental health condition have not been able to access support and treatment.

It is estimated that 1.5million young people will need mental health support as a result of the pandemic, and as a charity we want to help support young people who are affected.

78% of teachers say that the pandemic has impacted their ability to deliver a mental health strategy, leaving students with little or no support.

HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT

This theme for Vets Fest 22 is Changing the state of play in children and young people’s mental health.

Our aim is that the money you raise will support local charities, in your team’s community delivering mental health support to children and young people.

We will also be working with a number of partner charities, involved in the rugby fraternity such as Brave Mind who are delivering mental health projects across Rugby Clubs.
