We have granted more than £180,000 to local projects and  – given our rugby roots – are incredibly proud to have played a significant role in supporting the launch of The Isle of Man Wheelchair Sports Club.

Our donation of £23,120 allowed the club to purchase 12 adult and six junior sports-specific wheelchairs for use by its disabled and able-bodied members.

We have also helped change lives locally by pledging £70,000 to Project 21, a charity raising money to build facilities for residents with severe learning difficulties.

You can see a variety of projects we have supported, and fundraising events that are coming up, in the tab below.

If you would like to volunteer or fundraise for Isle of Man, please get in touch, or visit our how can you help page.

The Wooden Spoon Wheelchair Sports Club was officially launched at the National Sports Centre in 2011. The club was boosted by the generous donation of £23,120 by Wooden Spoon Isle of Man
