A packed calendar of lunches, balls, quizzes and golf days has helped us to raise more than £1.35 million and open 30 projects within our community since 2000.
One of our great and ongoing success stories has been the grant of £100,000 in 2007 to complete a Business and Enterprise Centre at Coombe Pafford School. This is a special school in Torquay catering for just over 200 pupils with moderate learning difficulties. Once built, the centre offered vocational skills to complement academic teaching with the aim of increasing employability amongst its pupils.
Our initial support and the success of the centre gave the Head Teacher and staff the momentum to think big and we have just heard they are planning their fifth unit!

Little Ruckers, a rugby play group of 2-8 year olds, teamed up with Wooden Spoon Devon to host the Rucker’s Rugby World Cup 2015. The event raised valuable funds for local projects and inspired the next generation of rugby players.
