MOWBRAY SPECIAL SCHOOL BARN & CLASSROOM OPENING
YorkshireOn Thursday the 6th of October, the headmaster of Mowbray Special School, Jonathan Tearle invited Yorkshire Region Committee members, Andy Proud, Bruce Allison and Richard Tully to attend the opening of the funded new barn/classroom at the Mowbray School. The racehorse trainer and Vice President of the Injured Jockeys Fund, Jack Berry MBE also attended.
Jack was charged with the wonderful duty of cutting the tape, to open our new barn. Mowbray is a very special school combining standard classroom based education, with hands on agricultural work and study, as can be seen from all the animals in the photographs. The barn had been in service for a number of months, prior to the opening and it has been a huge success for the school!!
