Since then\, Rob and his family have campaigned tirelessly to raise awareness and funds to support other families living with MND.\n\nThe 2023 Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon saw over 10\,000 participa nts take to the streets of Leeds\, with the route taking in some of the ci ty’s most scenic countryside and outer suburbs. The Rob Burrow Leeds Mar athon will be a fitting tribute to the city that launched Rob’s career a nd which he called home.\n\nWhether you are an experienced runner or consi dering your first running event\, all abilities are welcome for this speci al event.\n\nRegistrations for the 2025 event are not currently open. If y ou would like to express your interest in the 2026 event\, we will inform you about this when details are released.\n\nExpress Interest\n\n \;\n \nWooden Spoon supporting you: we will provide you with a Wooden Spoon run vest\, access to our Fundraising pack and resources such as social media graphics and videos\; and email updates. There is a cost to the charity to administer these event s and therefore we have set minimum fundraising levels which we view as ac hievable based on previous participants. \; It is at Wooden Spoon’s discretion whether to allow the participants to take part or not for the c harity\, if fundraising levels are not met.
