Wooden Spoon O35s Vets XV to play in France to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Victory in Europe in 1945 and the 80th Dunkirk memorial.

Following the success of the 2018 WW1 Armistice Tour, Wooden Spoon has been chosen as the UK and Ireland benefiting charity for a very special series of events commemorating rugby players who lost their lives serving in WW2 1939 – 1945.
The Rugby Tournament Festival will include school, club and exhibition rugby matches at (venue tbc) with memorial services and evening Commemoration Dinner.
It is hoped that Wooden Spoon Ambassadors will lead, manage and coach the Over 35s team which will include members of Wooden Spoon from across the UK and Ireland.
For the first time, the tour will feature a women’s team, as well as the mens team. The touring players and supporters will depart London by coach on Thursday 7th May 2020 and return Sunday evening 10th May 2020.
Cost to be confirmed will include all travel, meals, accommodation and kit.
