The Aircraft Golfing Society are Well Above Par

On the 11th December our incredible partners, AGS (Aircraft Golf Society) celebrated the end of their golfing year with their annual Christmas lunch at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. Over 500 guests attended a brilliant lunch which was enjoyed by all.
The event itself raised significant money including auction items donated by Wooden Spoon.
Guests were entertained by comedian Ian Irving and the Special Guest Speaker Nigel Owens who talked about his International Officiating Career in rugby with many insights to his personal journey with some of his most memorable match highlights.

Wooden Spoon are the official benefiting charity of the Aircraft Golf Society along with the ‘Captains Chosen Charity’ and over the entire year the members raise an incredible amount of money for these two charities through golf days and annual dinners / lunches.
The positive impact this money has on the lives for so many vulnerable children and their families is huge. We’re very proud and privileged to be partnered with AGS and would like to say thank you to their committee and members for choosing us and we look forward to working together in the future
