Inaugural Curry Night a Great Success

Wooden Spoon Northumberland would like to thank everyone who attended the inaugural curry night on the 10th November which raised £1,140. It was a fantastic evening of great food, fellowship and entertainment. 67 people filled  Lal Khazana restaurant in Shilbottle and everyone enjoyed the superb food followed by a hilarious comedy spot by local lad Rob Richie. After the raffle the evening was rounded off with an auction for a magnificent home-grown giant squash donated by Richard Hodgson.
We would like to thank:
Lal Khanzana for the venue and for providing a raffle prize
Rob Richie for the entertainment
John Pearce for donating a litre bottle of whisky for the raffle
Aila Campbell-Shiel for donating a raffle prize for a trip on their boat The Golden Gate to the Farne Islands
